Online booking on the rental company’s own website

SunSea Hub provides a booking widget that the rental operator places on their own website, or a booking page in their name. The customer chooses the boat, the date and the time slot, sees the price calculated from the operator’s rate card, then makes an advance payment or sends a quote request, depending on the mode chosen. The booking goes straight into the planner.

What the customer sees

  1. The catalogue of boats the rental company showcases, with or without a boating licence.
  2. Dates and time slots, based on availability in the planner.
  3. The price, calculated from the operator’s rate card before anything is confirmed.
  4. Their contact details, then the online advance payment or sending the request.

The widget is displayed in French and English.

Advance payment or quote: the rental company chooses

The rental company sets its mode: booking confirmed against an advance payment made online, or a request that it answers with a quote. A boat that requires a skipper always goes through a quote.

In the planner, with no re-keying

Each reservation creates a booking in Fleet, on the planner that serves as the reference: the dock sees it arrive like any other, with its advance payment. See the planner and bookings.

On your website, not on a marketplace

The widget sits on the rental company’s website, or opens on a booking page in its name: the customer books directly with the company, and the payment goes to it.

Frequently asked questions

Can my customers book online on my website?

Yes. A widget goes on your website; the customer chooses the boat, the date and the time slot, sees the price from your rate card, then makes an advance payment or sends a quote request.

Is online booking connected to the planner?

Yes: availability comes from the planner, and each reservation creates a booking in it.
