Locating stations and regulated zones

Main map: preparing the approach, not a route to the pump

The nautical chart is there to locate the station within its harbour. It does not show a route to follow. Channels, priorities, speed limits, manoeuvring zones and harbour office instructions take precedence over any habit or GPS track. PING completes your preparation with temporary notices.

Confirmed stations on the Saint-Tropez — Monaco route

Cannes — Vieux-Port, quai du Large	The Town confirms a station on the fuel jetty, as well as quayside refuelling by tanker lorry subject to harbour approval.	Events may restrict refuelling. Do not confuse a self-service station with delivery by tanker lorry.
Cannes — Port Pierre Canto, end of the quai Ouest	The Town confirms a station and, separately, the possibility of quayside refuelling by tanker lorry subject to approval.	Check access to the station and the harbour office instructions on VHF 09.
Mandelieu — Port La Napoule	YSBLUE station open all year round; diesel and petrol. The harbour’s page publishes seasonal opening hours and mentions an automatic pump during harbour office opening hours.	Station: +33 4 93 49 83 50. Check the time slot and access before entering the harbour.
Mandelieu — Port de la Rague	The municipal harbour advertises a refuelling quay.	Fuel types, opening hours and access conditions must be confirmed with the harbour office before setting off.
Théoule — port de la Figueirette	The 2026 national directory of marine fuel suppliers lists a fuel point at this harbour.	Confirm opening, fuel type and access with the harbour: the national list is not an operating timetable.
Antibes — Port Vauban, fuel point	The 2026 national directory places a fuel point at Port Vauban, boulevard Édouard-Baudoin.	Works or quay arrangements may change access: contact the harbour before your approach.
Antibes Juan-les-Pins — Port Gallice	The harbour and the station operator advertise a fuel point; the operator lists diesel and SP98.	As the opening hours are not published by the harbour office in the source used, confirm before arrival.
Golfe-Juan — visitors’ quay of the port Camille Rayon	Fuel point shared by the two harbours; the operator’s page lists diesel and SP98, and an automatic card pump from 5 am to 9 pm, 7 days a week.	Staffed hours vary by season. Confirm payment limits and the day’s conditions.
Villeneuve-Loubet — Marina Baie des Anges	Station near the boatyard. The harbour advertises fuel 7 days a week all year round; published hours: off-season 9 am–12 noon and 2 pm–5.30 pm, season June–September 8 am–7 pm.	Station / reception: +33 4 65 00 00 40. Beaulieu-sur-Mer — marina	The harbour lists a YSBLUE marine station with automatic pumps.	Station: +33 4 93 01 41 22. Confirm fuel types, automatic operation and opening hours with the harbour before setting off.
Cap-d’Ail — harbour entrance	The Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur indicates a station at the harbour entrance and a delivery option.	Station: +33 4 93 35 20 54. Harbour office: VHF 9. Confirm access and delivery arrangements before arrival.
Monaco — Port Hercule, fuel pontoon	The Société d’Exploitation des Ports de Monaco advertises a station at Port Hercule; high season 8 am–8 pm, 7 days a week, and low season Monday to Friday 8 am–6 pm, Saturday 8 am–12 noon.	Call the station before arrival: time slots and access are to be confirmed with the harbour operator.

Safety rules while refuelling

Refuelling is a manoeuvre, not a break. The skipper follows the designated area, keeps the boat under control and complies with the station’s instructions. In Cannes, the regulations require in particular that operations do not obstruct traffic, that the area is secured, that there is no smoking and that a crew member watches over the operation. These principles apply everywhere: engine off as instructed by the station, no naked flames, no cigarettes, no boarding or swimming during the operation.

In the event of a spill or an unusual smell, stop immediately following the station’s procedure, alert the staff or the harbour office and do not try to disperse the product in the water.

Mistakes that cost time

Arriving with too little range left and having to enter a very busy harbour entrance.
Confusing the availability of a station with permission to have fuel delivered to your berth.
Planning to refuel during a firework display, a regatta or a very busy period without contacting the harbour office.
Following a GPS position without listening to the harbour’s instructions or looking at the buoyage.

From Villeneuve-Loubet to Cap-d’Ail: added stations and the limits of the information

The Marina Baie des Anges, Nice, Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Cap-d’Ail are now listed on the basis of harbour or metropolitan sources. The opening hours shown are those published by the operator where they exist; no opening hours means the station must be contacted before setting off. A station visible on a map guarantees neither a free pump, nor a suitable depth for your draught, nor permission to enter the harbour.
